My teeth sink through the soft sourdough bread and hit a tiny bit of resistance as I reach the edge and transition to the sandwich filling.

How to present stories that convert. This is the baseline. This is like, I’m not going to go into the nuances of video. I’m not going to go into the nuances of Facebook lives. I’m not going to go into the nuances of any other of these things before going through this, because this is the foundation. If, God forbid, the internet goes away and this training ends and the recording fails, this is all you learn, and you start to implement this on every paid and organic piece of content that you put out. I tell you what, your conversions will increase.

Why doom is not enough

Do you think that some of her clients could relate to that? Where it’s like, I am trying so hard. And even the signs point to the fact that it should work and nobody’s coming, are you kidding me right now? And then it’s like, and this is what I’m so scared of. Like, there’s something in me and it’s going to die in me and I might even give up on this. How many of her humans do you think are going through that? She’s killing it right now. Nab, ground zero, doom. Then though, because we’re design hackers, we make it worse, right. So then it’s like, listen, not only did that happen, along the path, I was broke, scammed, cheated, and slander. So fascinating. There’s a client of hers that said, “the only reason why I joined is because she said the word scammed.” That word on a funnel alone. He was like, “I knew that she got me because I’ve been scammed.” That alone. Imagine if we would have just been like, Hmm, dooms enough. And what’s beautiful and crazy about this is that the storytelling thing can happen so fast. It’s like four words, four words, 50 grand. Amazing. Right.

The monetization framework

But simply by doing this, again, remember you help your story to become their story, which helps your solution to become their solution, which means that these competitors, they literally stop caring about them because they don’t get them. 

And so, again, as you’re thinking about positioning, as you’re thinking about messaging, and you’re thinking about monetization and the entirety of this, you have to get in your head design, hacking, presenting stories not for entertainment, not for fun, not even for like, “Oh, people might find this interesting.” No. We’re going for conversions. Changing people from one form to another. And when you follow this framework, D E S I G N, you’re gonna be able to make it happen.
