Business Growth Examples to Scale Your Business
How often have you started trying to implement some fantastic business growth examples you saw only to realize that it causes you to go backward in revenue? Hands? Anyone? I won’t lie – I have just this last year. While I didn’t start building my content activation system to suffer in revenue, I learned a few things along the way. I’ve started implementing some of the things I learned in my business this year. And let me tell you, my business has already started growing and expanding just by doing some of these simple things. How about we get right down to it?
Surefire Strategies
I cannot explain the immense number of internet business growth examples available on the internet. Everyone seems to have their own tried and true method that works great for their business and that no one else finds relevant. So, I started to analyze the things that everyone had in common. What was each of these businesses doing the same? There had to be simple things that were helping to fuel their businesses forward. And do you know what I found? There isn’t one particular thing that enables you to grow your business. It’s a compilation of multiple things.
Behind The Scenes
One of the main things that all of these businesses have in common is that they have the right team of people working together on the back end. To have a successful business, you need a team that works together, in unison, whether they are a remote team or not. Investing in the right people will make a huge difference. You should also ensure that each team member is doing a job they enjoy doing.
I lead a remote team and have regular check-ins with them. I hold these meetings to ensure that they know there is an open line of communication with me and that they’re happy with their work. We chat about things that they enjoy during these meetings and things that frustrate them. This helps me be able to tweak their workloads to cater to not only my business but to their personal and professional strengths as well. I can then move work around, ensuring that all tasks are covered and completed with the most vital team member for the job. (You can also find some other goodies about how I like to work with my team efficiently here!)
Make an Investment
Another excellent business growth example is to invest. Invest in yourself, your business, and your team! Now, I don’t necessarily mean buying into every coaching or training you see to teach you how to scale your business. I mean, invest in YOU. It might be tempting to keep all of your profit to yourself, but if you aren’t an effective leader, your business won’t scale.
Take the time to train yourself to be an effective leader. Once you learn this skill, you can then share the knowledge with your team and help shape them into confident leaders themselves. And you can’t have a confident team if you don’t have a confident leader! Keep in mind that these coaching and training programs are not going to be what makes your business scale. But instead, you can take away crucial teaching points from them, like how to lead effectively and build systems to help you and your team work more efficiently.
Business Growth in the Right Direction
Now, while these are just a couple of things I have started implementing, there are many more goodies (about these subjects and more!) in this week’s episode of The Content Toolbox! And let me tell you, the business growth examples I share have made a massive impact on my business and team already this year! I am enjoying watching my business grow along with an excited team who wants their work! I promise this is the dream of every entrepreneur!
